Market growth through new offering within non-life insurance

Situation

A leading non-life insurer wanted to develop a strategy and offering to defend its position as a profitable market leader within motor insurance. The integral approach had to mitigate the ongoing transformation of automotive, e.g., electrification, future usage of autonomous vehicles, and changed customer behaviors with significant impact on business models and future motor insurance premium levels. Existing organizational setup and new regulations (insurance distribution directive) put challenges for designing new offering, distribution strategy, and operating model.
 

Solution

The Avanti team guided the client in developing and deploying a new distribution strategy. Avanti was responsible for overall program management and did also manage 3 out of 9 subprojects. 100+ employees/consultants worked in the program.
