During some time, we have been receiving questions about how the war in Ukraine affects cash payments, often based on the assumption that the transition to card and digital payments is accelerating and that cash usage is declining due to the war. To understand and verify whether this is truly the case, we have analyzed available statistics and other information from Ukraine to determine what conclusions can be drawn.
